Overview

This non-commercial project stores only what's needed to run your tracker. This explains what's collected and where it goes.

What we collect

  • Account info from Google sign-in: your name, email, and profile photo.
  • Data you create in the app: your goal and body stats (sex, age, height, weight, activity, units), the meals and foods you log with their nutrition values, weight and step entries, meal-plan selections and which meals you mark eaten, recipes you submit, favorites, and group memberships.
  • Photos you upload for meal recognition.

How we use it

To authenticate you and to provide the tracker: compute your targets, store your diary, and show your trends and plans.

Third parties your data is shared with

  • Google — for sign-in.
  • OpenAI — meal photos you upload and recipe text are sent to OpenAI to recognise food and generate meal plans/images; this is subject to OpenAI's policies.
  • Our hosting and database providers (e.g. the app host and a managed Postgres database), and optional image storage.

We do not sell your data or use third-party advertising/tracking.

Storage & retention

Your data is stored in the app's database for as long as your account exists. Uploaded meal photos may be transient (not retained) depending on configuration.

You can sign out at any time, and request deletion of your account and data by contacting the maintainer.
